Hello, Let me just start by giving you a little bit of my backstory. I was a dispatcher for several years, I have a very strong work ethic, I pride myself in my perfection, but I'm never lacking in speed of delivery. I had a son 2 years ago, during childbirth I lost central vision do to a tramatic birthing experience. I went on leave from my job to cope and learn how to live with my disability. Im legally blind, but I do not let that slow me down. I do not have a licence which poses several problems in trying to return to the workforce. During my FMLA leave the Taxi/Limo company I dispatched for downsized and my job was no longer available to me due to limited availability of positions and lack of seniority among my former Co-Workers. Since then I have been working on a computer that assists me with my visual disabilities with multiple programs. I type 85-90 WPM, I'm skilled in multiple basic word programs such as; Excell, Word, Powerpoint and multiple other softwares that do not come standard. I'm a fast learner and I have excellent Customer Service skills, in my previous job I juggled Dispatching of limo services, taking customer calls for new booking, I handled customer questions via Email, telephone and maintained the customer complaint line. I also traveled to bridal conventions where I sold wedding packages through our company and was paid on commision. I did some marketing for Arbor Limousine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Right now I just want something to do, I feel like my skills are being wasted and I want to enter the workforce, I just have limits, but with my set up, Im able to work from home quite efficiently. I managed a small team of call takers in a call center, I work well with others and time management is one of my mastered skills. Im willing to take any position available, Im ready to get to work!
