I have worked in all sections of airlines like MRO, crew management, passenger services applications, revenue management, fares, revenue accounting, etc. I have played various roles from developer to analyst to team lead to project manager. Most of my past 15 years have been managing multiple teams of experts for various airline clients. Projects ranged from building web interfaces, core functionality changes on legacy, building modules in newer technologies to augment / replace legacy application modules, automation utilities for maintenance and monitoring applications on production systems. I am equally well versed with traditional waterfall management methodologies, Agile methodologies and Lean methodologies, TDD, BDD, Scrum, Kanban. Technical and hands-on includes various languages like legacy mainframe environments, modern languages like Java, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL etc. I have good understanding of technologies used in modern web applications like node.js, JavaScript, AngularJs, python, RESTful services, microservices, SOAP, CI/CD tools, testing tools like Jmeter, RestAssured, SOAPUI etc.
