Current editor of the UK's leading trade news site for the kitchen and bathroom industry, producing continuous content for the website alongside managing a blog section, sub-editing guest content and overseeing day-to-day running of the site. During my time in this role, page impressions and unique users to the site have more than doubled on average. I also manage the social media feeds for multiple websites, styling the tone/voice of our social media content depending on the platform and audience, as well as producing our daily and weekly newsletters. I created and designed a CMS-based website for an industry awards event, producing all of the content and working to a tight deadline. Alongside my role, I also contribute content to other publications within the industry, both print and digital. Prior to this, I worked as a financial journalist in Central London, specialising in private equity and investments. This role comprised news writing for a daily, subscription-based newsletter, feature writing about a range of financial and economic topics, and attending industry events.
