Being an artist is a colorful career; I find art very challenging and exciting when it comes to making your ideas come alive. What intrigue me are the relationships of color and how you can use them to make a lively picture: to make another world with lines, form, and hues. So many things come into relation when it equates with design. I think logically with design, composition, but emotion also comes into play when color is involved. Usually, the direction leading to a finished piece comes with a few steps. I make all of my work digitally. I like to think of it as an easier way to paint and create form without the mess of pencil shavings and other traditional mediums. The actual digital development leading to my finished work, at most, naturally progresses with a predetermined insight and outcome. Now during this creative progression my mind already has a few color schemes in mind to put into play. Most of my projects focus on the relationship in color. Even if it is figurative, environmental, or a graphic design, the colors are always something I like to think about.
