• Follow up on leads and monitor potential business.
• To maintain a good relationship with top and potential clients, industry contacts, and relevant authorities.
• To interact with clients, convention bureaus, local associations, government tourism offices, airlines, travel agents, tour operators and competitors.
• To produce an Action Plan related to the Marketing Plan to ensure objectives are achieved.
• To recommend to the Management and to coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, trade fair, employee training and customer relations.
• To meet with all influential clients and to ensure post meeting evaluations are conducted.
• To coordinate sales and promotes business for all travel and tours operations.
• To participate as an active member of the community through association memberships and other trade organisations.
• To research and collect potential lead sources for all categories of business and investigates potential markets based on collection of data from market research.
• To conduct weekly reviews, including sales personnel activity reports to ensure all targets are achieved.
• To implement and maintain an effective system of administration for office policies and procedures, including a regular review on the Master File and database, to ensure effective communication flow.
• To participate in special sales and marketing programmes / promotions organised by other related companies in the group of companies.
• To review and maintain all market research sources such as journal clippings, trade publications, convention calendars, association directories etc.
• Handling the operation side (such as room, coach, tour guide & restaurant booking).
