I am IT Professional, Engineer, and MBA with around 8 years experience in the sector. I worked 6 years as a full stack developer In the managerial side, I have been leading/managing developers for the last three years, always following Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban. As Scrum Master and Prince 2 Certified, I can help companies to deliver their products, in line with client’s expectations, and get out the maximum of the team’s capacity. I will drive Agile ceremonies like stands up, retrospective, sprint planning, backlog refinement, etc. I like to follow good practices, starting with strong user stories (bdd,tdd...), tracking the velocity of the team to improve the performance, and give accurate estimations, unblocking issues, etc. As line manager I have grown the team with new engineers, looking for the right role that the company needs, in terms of technologies, experience, budget etc. I like to encourage the team, by letting them make decisions, so like that, they feel part of the company and become more efficient and participative. Continuous improvement is key for the future of the company, but also of the developers, so I include time in Sprints to improve and learn technologies, as an investment in their career, having a very positive effect on the quality of the final product. In order of tools, I mainly have experience with Jira, in order to control and track the work, backlog, and Sprints planning. Gantt Chart to plan in advance, mostly for waterfall projects. I enjoy working with different stakeholders, becoming one more team member. After working in software companies for years, I am a big fan of short releases, but as many as possible. I believe that the software life cycle must be short and simple, so like that client can have the latest versions asap on their side. That minimizes the risk when misunderstanding the client’s needs, and helps to react quickly to changes.
