My name Mufida Ahmad Iam alhamdulillah accomplished translator and mediator with a strong background in labor rights and cross-cultural communication. Fluent in Indonesian, English, Italian, French, Turkish, and Urdu, I am passionate about using my language skills to advocate for the rights and opportunities of workers, particularly in the context of international labor relations.
As a former translator for the Ministry of Labor, I played a pivotal role in facilitating negotiations between the Indonesian government and a Middle Eastern company, reopening opportunities for Indonesian domestic workers to legally work in Middle Eastern countries. This experience deepened my commitment to worker protection and fair labor practices.
Currently, I serve as the Mediator and Coordinator for Indonesian Worker Protection at APJATI, an Indonesian Labor Office Association, where I continue to advocate for the well-being and rights of Indonesian workers abroad. Additionally, I provide translation services for the Middle East Division, assisting my CEO with important communications with embassies and platforms such as Musaned—an integrated service platform in Saudi Arabia for domestic labor recruitment. This critical role ensures smooth, effective dialogue between employers and governmental entities.
I am also honored to have been a speaker at the International World Model United Nations, representing Indonesian labor rights at the United Nations Human Rights stand.
