Former US President Donald Trump has arrived in New York in preparation for a court appearance on criminal charges related to paying actress Stormy Daniels.
The former president is spending the night at Trump Tower in Manhattan before heading to court later Tuesday.
Details of the charges against Trump will be revealed at a hearing at around 14:15 local time (19:15 GMT).
The former president denies any wrongdoing.
The former president wrote on his account on his Truth Social platform on Sunday: "I will go Tuesday morning, believe it or not, to the courtroom." "America wasn't supposed to be like this."
Trump flew to New York on his private jet and is expected to spend the hours leading up to the hearing at his former New York residence with his legal advisers.
He will travel to Manhattan Criminal Court in a process overseen by U.S. law enforcement.
Trump's fingerprints will be fingerprinted depending on the arrest procedure, but it is not yet clear whether he will be photographed.
He will then appear before a judge to read out the indictment - the set of charges. His lawyers have previously said he will not plead guilty.
US media reported that Trump faces at least one misdemeanor for falsifying trade records. Other reports indicate that there are about 30 charges in the indictment.
