Before co-founding SGA, she was the Vice President of Community Investments for BMO Harris Bank. In this role, she helped managed the bank's Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA"?) investment portfolio, which was composed of tax credits, SBIC private equity, real estate, and socially responsible equity equivalent investments (EQ2). She also spent several years as the Marketable Securities Portfolio Manager for Public School Teachers'? Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago, where she was tasked with the management and oversight of the Fund's $6B equity, REITs, fixed income, commodities, and hedge fund portfolios. Additionally, she developed and managed the Fund's emerging managers and emerging broker programs.
