I received a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Utah in 2002. I studied scriptwriting quite heavily--as writing is also a passion of mine. Previous to that, in 1986, I’d received an A.A. from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. This was for University Studies with a Communications emphasis. I took a number of Creative Writing Classes and also several screenwriting classes there. For 4 years I worked at a television station doing the Morning News (a 30 minute news show), I helped built the news script and was responsible for all technical aspects of the show, i.e. directing, camera, and directing. I am a stickler for detail and a perfectionist when it comes to writing. I have a good sense for composition and story. I can work at a fast pace and am used to meeting deadlines. I’m used to solving problems quickly as they arrive and being challenged with extra tasks.
