I am detail-oriented, fastidious, thorough and conscientious in my work habits. My skills include Internet/Library Research, English Spelling and Grammar, French to English Translation, and Proofreading. I am a U.S. citizen and reside in Bellingham, Washington.For a number of years I have worked intermittently as a researcher and legal consultant for labor unions and grassroots worker and farmer organizations worldwide. This work has at times involved the translation or proofreading of conference reports and other organizational documents.I am also a lawyer with 25 years of experience. For the last thirteen years I was employed as a legal (labor law) officer by the International Labor Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, in Geneva, Switzerland.Prior to that I worked for ten years in Boston, Massachusetts, as a general attorney in the regional office of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
