Currently, my full-time profession is drafting proposed legislation, including bills and amendments. I perform legal and policy research and present clear and concise analysis to members of my state legislature (my position is nonpartisan). I received my academic training at Duke University School of Law, earning my highest grade on a 30-page academic journal sample. In years past, I handled written correspondence for an executive official in state government, and also spent a summer working as a proofreader in a governor's correspondence office.
