I am a Chartered IT Professional and a qualified provider of proofreading/copy editing services. Most recent projects have included work on corporate websites, brochures, books and a wide range of other literature. I have just completed a manuscript for an African national on the subject of crime, have helped re-write some Award nominations and am currently working on a project for a German client who specialise in producing automated systems for the Maritime industry. With several years' experience working in the IT and engineering industries, I have extensive experience in writing, editing and proofreading both technical and non-technical documents. I am familiar with the terminology used in both of these industries. Last year, I took a refresher course in 'Proofreading and Copy Editing' with the Writers Bureau, having taken an initial course some years ago. I have excellent English, am accurate, have good attention to detail and can offer flexibility in the hours I work.
