I have extensive experience editing magazines and similar publications. Why me? I don't make mistakes. It's that simple. I catch every typo, every subject/verb mismatch, every awkward phrasing, and so on. I also have a strong sense for larger issues, such as the structure of paragraphs, the arrangement of paragraphs, and - most importantly - the extent to which the writer is fulfilling the expectations of the reader. I can mine any piece of text for errors ranging from local grammatical mistakes and overly wordy writing to large-scale logical or structural awkwardness. I work quickly and confidently, and I don't make mistakes. I clearly communicate the nature of all problems to the author.
