DC Language Services was founded in 2009 with the goal to help people whose talents lie somewhere other than in written expression. DC Language Services' founder, Maja Frigelj, has worked as a writer since 2007, earning several publications and honors. Her cultural experiences and language skills have enhanced her writing and editing skills, allowing her to connect with and understand her client's needs. Specializing her services to non-native English speakers, Maja draws from her native-born Bosnian background, German upbringing, and American adolescence, education, and work experience. While her expertise is in English writing, she has mastered cultural expressions, colloquialisms, and underlying meanings of words and phrases. Maja holds an M.S. in Organization Development and Knowledge Management and a B.A. in Communications with Minors in German and Russian.
