When I first set out to get my degree in English, I had my heart set on working for a book publisher and helping writers take their manuscripts and turn them in to masterpieces. While my interests have grown, the creative story will always be my first passion. I have experience as both a creative writer and a creative editor. I understand the process behind storytelling and my goal as an editor is to take the raw form and cultivate it in to a marketable piece of work while maintaining all of the desired creative elements. I focused my education during my undergrad and graduate degrees to include workshopping, development, and research skills for the creative writer.
