I began my career as a copywriter for a large real estate firm and as an assistant editor for a small comic book press. I moved into teaching technical, business, and academic writing courses at the college level over 18 years ago, but now I want to go back to my first love--editing. I also enjoy the administration of various office duties. I have helped revise and proofread thousands of pages of student and colleague work at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and have taught composition, rhetoric, humanities, and professional writing. I also helped to found a non-profit after school program for disadvantaged children in 2009. I enjoy both large and small projects and am able to meet tight deadlines. I have a master's degree in rhetoric and composition, a graduate certificate in professional writing, and have complete all course work toward a PhD in rhetoric and composition.
