I have extensive editing, proofreading and ESL experience with science and journalistic publications, and can edit manuscripts of any length for style, clarity and correctness. I am also a published author of fiction and poetry with competitive experience workshopping creative writing, and would be happy to look at manuscripts in any genre. I can provide revision notes in TrackChanges and/or a clean copy of a revised manuscript in MSWord. If you have not previously used the TrackChanges feature in MSWord I would be happy to walk you through this option. I have a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and would be comfortable editing manuscripts with an analytical research method for correctness in reporting the quantitative results as well. I am especially familiar with the use of cost-benefit analysis (including Markov models), Baysian probability models, dosimetry, survival analysis and risk factor analysis metrics. Although I would be happy to tailor proofreading and revision notes to English as a Second Language (ESL) authors' needs, I do not do document translation. For technical writing with a research focus, I charge $5/page with a $50 minimum for proofreading and revision help. For all other types of manuscripts my rate is $2/page (regardless of whether it is single space or double space), also with a $50 minimum per project. This comes out to around $10/hour for me, but I do not charge by the hour for editing. I prefer to correspond during the project completion window about progress reports, rather than provide continuing services after completion and payment, but for large manuscripts (over 100 pages) I understand the upfront commitment of resources makes in-depth follow-up after project completion (within reason) important to meeting project goals.
