I am a proofreader and editor. I know my attention to detail, ability to spot writing mistakes quickly, and aptitude for meeting deadlines is a huge asset. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Publishing Studies at Illinois State University. I have strong knowledge of AP style from my previous experience as a Copy Editor for The Vidette, Illinois State University’s official newspaper, along with experience from working for my hometown newspaper. I also have experience as a proofreader for several brand labels, including Spectracide, Dingo, EcoLogic, and more. In addition, I have experience copy editing social media copy for these brands, reviewing emails and posts for Facebook. In addition, I also can be a writer. I have experience in blog and article writing with my own startup magazine Warm Soda Magazine. As a copy editor and proofreader, I excel in spotting the mistakes others miss. I have a passion for correcting errors and making written pieces into art. In my opinion, writing is the most important medium, and one that I take very seriously.
