I am a teacher in Oklahoma. I am certified in Special and General education. I started working as a Paraprofessional in 2001 and have been in the classroom ever since. I put myself through college while learning in the classroom. I have seen many changes in education including policies and state laws that have and still are affecting children from curriculum all the way down to their lunch plate. I have witnessed many people come and go as well as their good intentions. As someone on the frontline and working in the trenches of our vulnerable public school system, I am here to write and educate the public in order to help improve our impoverished education system.
