I am a recent graduate of the degree of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English from Mindanao State University and earned a latin honor as a Magna Cum Laude. In the same year, I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers given last September 29. Despite having no formal experience in teaching both in public and private schools, I have rigorously trained by our academic institution through College-initiated seminars and workshop, four field studies courses, and a 2-month long practicum in our own laboratory school Furthermore, I have engaged and garnered awards in several extracurricular activities and competition such as finishing 2nd runner up in our 54th University-wide foundation anniversary extemporaneous speech competition and finishing 3rd best adjudicator in the 37th Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Championship 2018, having judge the open grand finals of the Philippine Intercollegiate Debate Championship 2018, and ranking 10th best speaker in the 2018 Mindanao Peace Debates. In terms of participation in community projects, I am a proud volunteer of the international work of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the search for foreign speaking individuals currently residing in Butuan City. Our line of work involves interacting and delivering Bible-based messages along with printed monthly publications in the comforts of their own language and in the English Language. This includes different avenues of our ministry such as cart witnessing, business witnessing, telephone witnessing, return visiting, Bible Teaching, and house-to-house witnessing. Along such important responsibilities are reciprocal trainings conducted 3 hours every week.
