I do instructional design and elearning development that cares about the learner. I care about business objectives and measurable outcomes too, but if I can't keep the learner awake, then nothing else matters. Microlearning, simulation and gamification are my favorite products. I'm also a little obsessed about standards and developing best-practice in my design and production processes. I make elearning that's sustainable and accessible. By sustainable, I mean easy to maintain, adapt, re-purpose and localize. In other words, change. Big "A" Accessibility, that is, WCAG 2.0 and 508 compliance, is important to me, but so is small "a" accessibility. Small "a" meaning accessible anywhere, anytime and on any device. I take my own learning and professional development seriously. I am an Adobe Certified Expert (Captivate 8) and also have certificates in Moodle (from Moodle MOOC 2015) and Gamification (Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania 2015). I am freelance, but I have a small global network of trusted and valued helpers, so I prefer to take on work of substance and scale. If you actually care about what you're audience is going to think and say about the elearning you give them, then I'd be excited to work with you.
