- Development of electrical design basis, scope of work and man-hour requirements - Verify scope of work, budgeted man hours, budgeted quantities, total of deliverables, and format of delivery, time schedules and other specifications on the basis of scope of works. - Preparation of M.R(Material Requisition) and T.B.A (technical bid analysis) - Preparation of technical specification, selection of electrical equipment, evaluation of technical proposals for various electrical equipment & systems - Checking & Approving vendor's design calculations, fabrication drawings and vendor documents as per relevant codes, specification & standards. - Knowledge in Electrical Power Systems, Protection Philosophy & Protection Device Coordination. - Preparation of specification and equipment datasheets - Preparation of sizing calculations - Preparation of Cable schedules and load lists. - Preparation of SLDs ,typical drawings and layouts - Electrical studies and analysis in ETAP - MTO preparation. - Review of drawings for inter-disciplinary check and interference. - Various electrical layouts drawings such as, hazardous area classification layout, cabling layouts, earthing layout, including equipment installation and cable tray and support layouts, standard installation details and cable termination details. - Area wise illumination level calculation and preparation for power supply distribution drawing for normal and critical lighting.
