I have over 25 years of practical, hands-on design and test experience in various industries including telecommunications, data communications and NTCIP compatible road traffic messaging equipment. I have extensive experience throughout the product development cycle from concept development through Production release, working either independently or as part of a cross-functional team of engineering, manufacturing, sales and technical support personnel. My experience in hardware development includes scheduling and planning the development cycle, component specification/sourcing, schematic capture, BOM development, PCB layout and routing, FPGA / CPLD development, prototype testing / debugging and full support of release to Production. I am also proficient in supporting software and firmware development involving C/C++, Python, Java, and embedded Linux.
