I use the following flows for email sequences and automation for new accounts:
- Welcome series (3-5 emails): Best-seller emails, emails for specific product lines, and emails with signup discounts
- Three emails in the Abandoned Checkout Series:
- Similar to the abandoned checkout series, the abandoned cart series
- Five emails in a customer appreciation and post-purchase series: shipping and order emails for order confirmation, thanks, cross-selling and up-selling
- Browse to the first email in the series and click "abandon series"
1 email in the "Site Abandon Series" site abandonment email
- Winback Series (2 emails): A discount email is sent after a customer win-back email.
Birthday emails for customers can be set up, as well as emails for other special occasions like anniversaries. VIP (2 emails): Thank the customer and then offer a discount.
