Designed and implemented mission-critical, embedded, real-time software that operates bulk food (almonds, peanuts, beans, etc) sorting machines that included a Windows/C++/MFC user interface application, an NT driver plus multiple closely coupled DSP programs written in C and assembly language.
Managed the team that implemented a program that automates the radiology departments of small hospitals. The four-person team worked in a source-controlled environment over an eight-month period to construct a 60-form, 3 MB, SQL database application that was successfully demonstrated at a major industry trade show.
Designed and developed a program that daily splits, repackages, compresses, and distributes (via email) multi-megabyte mainframe data and report files to more than 200 laptop computers in support of a major oil company's national marketing team. The program operated in a "lights-out" environment for two years without error.
