Why do pet shops allow you to take puppies home for a night? Because they know you'll come back the next day having made a decision to buy the new pup. They know you'll get emotionally attached to it. And that will make the sale a lot easier. Pet shops know that they need the prospective to make an emotional decision if they are going to make a sale. Likewise, any great sales page or copy will need to connect emotionally with a reader in order to bring about a sale. Without emotional engagement you will risk losing sales that your competitors may capture. You can list as many benefits as you can, but they will only capture the full sales demand if you engage your readers on an emotional level. Life insurance is one of the most boring products that one can possibly buy, yet great sales people manage to close sale after sale earning thousands each time. How do they do it? Most people have a pretty solid opinion of themselves and their own health (“nothing will happen to me”). Great sales people can turn that around by focusing on the needs of spouse and children. In writing, these tactics are very similar. Great sales copy writers tease out important details in style, structure and vocabulary to maximise conversions. Focusing on burning fears, dreams and pains. Moreover, my skills focus on: 1. Creating scarcity - readers need to be given a reason to buy, by creating well crafted scarcity, reader will get the urgency to buy sooner rather than later. 2. Understanding the reader - in order to get to grips with emotional copy, we will back to fundamental basics of understanding your readers’ fears and desires. 3. Social Proof - reviews, testimonials and ratings are crucial. But even more important is to pick the right ones and place them correctly. Most businesses get it wrong and it takes a bit of work to get it right. 4. Overcome objections - every person has got objections when it comes to buying. Well crafted copy will engage with these objections upfront and overcome them, so that your readers will be ready to do business with you. Are you excited to get started and get some conversions?
