EXPERIENCE I am admitted to practice in California and New York. My practice focuses on intellectual property , entertainment matters, technology transactions and civil rights. I also provide general counsel services and business counseling for small businesses, start-ups, and companies. In addition to my solo practice, I am an adjunct professor of law at the University of California Hastings College of Law. I started my legal career as an associate in the New York office of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. At Skadden, I was a member of the team that represented Merrill Lynch in connection with the New York attorney general's investigation of its analyst research reports and defended the company in related securities class actions and multidistrict litigation.
