I’m a native Thai speaker who is seeking a new opportunity to gain more experiences. I currently work as a freelance translator for product reviews, and a communication assistant between Thai and English for overseas clients. I was born and raised in Thailand before travelling to Australia to study. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Silpakorn University, Thailand and have just received a master’s degree in Creative Industries from Monash University, Australia. I have done some freelance and internships for media and educational service industries in Thailand and Australia, respectively, which both require different skills. Some tasks I have worked on are related to proposal and general writing, translating, interview and video transcribing, subtitling, interpreting and interviewing in both English and Thai for the organisations. During the time in Australia, I have worked part time in hospitality and done some volunteering for university and festival, also helped my friends to deal with their assignments/researches in my free time. Even though my specialised knowledge based on my education is in cultural and creative industries area, new knowledge is always welcome and I am more than happy to learn it. I wish to maintain and improve myself every day, and realise this is the way to balance my productive work and personal life. As you can see, I am very new to this, but I am reliable and patient to get all work accurately done. I am a positive thinker who enjoys every piece of work I am committed to, and always believe that paying attention to detail is the key.
