The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested (10) violators of the environmental regime for exploiting sediment by sand and bulldozing soil without a license in a number of areas of the Kingdom.
The official spokesman of the Special Forces for Environmental Security, Colonel Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, explained that (11) mechanisms used in sand transporting and soil dredging were seized, working on two citizens, (6) residents of Ethiopian nationality, and a resident of Syrian nationality, and regular procedures were applied against them.
He urged the official spokesman to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Mecca, Riyadh and Al-Shiqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
