I am an equity research analyst. . I worked as research associate in a value based hedge fund for 5 years (2011-2016). During my tenure I have created many tools using excel-VBA to extract data from websites. I am well versed with all kind of SEC filings and company reports. My job included tasks like running stock screener every week to identify potential investments, analyzing fundamental, management etc. . Prior to joining in hedge fund, I worked as Sr. Technical Support Executive (2006-2010) in a BPO concern Sutherland, India. I joined as CSR and sooner within a year, promoted to Technical Support and then moved up to Sr. Technical Support. .My typing speed is so good ( greater than 80 wpm with 99.99% accuracy). I have done many data entry projects both in English and Tamil. I am a columnist. 4 of my articles are published in well reputed daily newspaper Tamil Hindu. (Search by my nickname: Bala Karuppasamy-???? ??????????). My poetry collection named '????? ???????? ???? ???????????' in Tamil was released in Oct 2017 as a Kindle version. I have also translated many poems from English to Tamil. .I know computer languages C++, Python, Visual Basic, VBA coding, SQL etc. Prior to joining in hedge fund, I was a software developer and created 3 projects by myself to different organizations. (2003-2006) . I started my career as a Data Entry Operator in a FMCG distribution company. I worked there from 2000 to 2003.
