Data Governance Dashboard is a tool used to track Data quality, Compliance, Security, Architecture, and IT Governance. Helps align policies, standards, and guidelines from these stakeholder groups. As part of this, we had to come up with generic scripts and Metadata to maintain different levels of alerts. All the generic scripts used data form Metadata tables, these tables were exposed to front-end users using Java Screens. This project aims at reducing the analysis effort along with a 360 degree impact view, with all the impacted objects. Responsibilities: ? Involved with discussion in business and educating them how the solution will help them. ? Involved in Logical & Physical Data Modeling for Metadata. ? Defined functionality of different generic scripts and the way they should be used. ? Involved in phased conversion of existing scripts to accommodate new generic scripts ? Implement and design the solution in Informatica 8.x with Netezza,Teradata utilities. ? Implement Pushdown Optimization in the solution to extract maximum efficiency. ? Develop Informatica Mappings using complex transformation like Normalizer , Custom, Java & XML. ? Define right Primary Partition Index and Join Indexes to nmake sure we have maximum throughput for reporting applications. ? Work with defining Physical index (Distribution Column) in Netezza. ? Educate team on using Best Join Types (Hash Join, cross-db Join) for best performance. ? Implement Hybrid Netezza model for high performance. ? Design Netezza Data Model in ERWIN Environment : ERWIN,Visio,Informatica 8.x,Teradata V2R12,Netezza 4.5, Business Objects.
