Everything was fine

$25/hr Starting at $25

The sun was setting on a quiet suburban street. Sparrows sang their evening songs and flowers scented the air. Everything seemed quiet and perfect - until Rachel heard a strange noise coming from her basement.

Rachel has been living in Minya lately. But now the noise seemed to have been in her house for several months, but she had never ventured into the cellar. She knew it was filled with boxes of old things that belonged to her grandmother, which she found in the basement.

Against her better judgement, Rachel slowly descended the stairs to the basement. When I reached the bottom, I was shocked to see an old woman with long gray hair squatting in a corner. The woman's eyes were black as coal and she looked at Rachel with an icy gaze.

Rachel asked who the woman was and why she was in her basement, but all the old woman did was stand up and point to a dusty box in the corner. Rachel carefully opened it and found inside an old book with a strange symbol etched on its cover.

When Rachel opened it, a cold shiver ran down her spine as the ancient words filled the room. After that, the old woman let out an eerie laughter that reverberated on the basement walls before disappearing into thin air.

Rachel quickly closed the book and ran upstairs, never to return to that creepy cellar again. From that day on, she always locked her doors tightly, and she prayed that nothing like this would happen again.
