I, Achenkunju v Samuel, am a Post Graduate in English Literature from Mahatma Gandhiji University, Kerala, India. I am a Graduate in Law too. I have been teaching English in Schools and colleges since 1997. I love to teach, especially poems. I am a writer of essays on current topics,also a translator from English to Malayalam. I was the editor of the School Magazine Last year (2019). I have edited thesis of a Research student. Some stories have I written for WRITE INDIA, a venture by the publication Times of India. some of the poems written by me are: 1. GO SLOW 2. GIRL IN THE MULBERRIES 3. BEWARE OF DOGS 4. TIME 5. FROM THE ARABIAN SHORE 6. WISDOM FROM HEAVEN 7. TO MY LOVE I have translated the book PATRIARCHS AND PROPHETS (A Religious book) authored by ELLEN G WHITE. This book is an interpretation of the first 12 books of the Bible; that is, from Genesis to 2nd Kings. It gives a luscious narration about the creation, fall and the plan of God to Redeem the fallen mankind. A book I translated out of my love towards it. In the year 2017 I associated one author to prepare a study-guide of English text, standard 9 ( Karnataka syllabus), for a publishing company named Subhas. I love reading novels, books on Education, Religion, Essays on current topics and poems- English and Malayalam. Khalil Gibran is my favourite author. I also have a plan to publish some E-Books. Do hope at least one will be out this year. I am a keen student of The Holy Bible. There is not a single day I don't read Bible. so much I love to hear Bible-based sermons. Dough Batchelor, Randy Skeete , Mark Finley are some of my favourite speakers. Spending time with them in the morning is a joyful experience.
