I'm currently in my 5th year of my undergraduate degree, Occupational Therapy, and I'm looking to find an extra source of income to help out with daily expenditures. I've had some experience in food service as a runner of sorts, which included cleaning out tables, bringing orders to hungry customers, seating new guests, and making sure all requests on the floor were met. All done while smiling, of course As an Occupational Therapy intern, I've been exposed to both pediatric and psychiatric settings. The management of special children involved using behavioral modification techniques to teach them how to behave properly in school, home, and community settings to maximize their functionality. I have also worked in psychiatric settings which involved finding difficulties in clients' activities of daily living, and creating innovative, budget friendly, and effective treatment programs that fit each clients' needs and interests to solve these issues. I have an above average grasp of the English language, and am able to communicate myself, my thoughts, and ideas effectively, through both spoken and written means. I am a proficient and accurate typist with a speed of 66 WPM. I have knowledge of and am able to efficiently use basic computer software, such as MS Office. I have a good internet connection, and am constantly connected either through my laptop, my phone, or my tablet device, and so it is fairly easy to get in touch with me any time of the day.
