In my role as ED I have led successfully in the following areas; Operations, Public Relations, Marketing, Fundraising and Leadership. I have HR management for a team of 8 full time and 80 seasonal employees, together with coordination and recognition of numerous valuable volunteers. Strategic planning for capital improvements, major fundraising campaigns, maintenance schedules, staffing and health/safety initiatives. Financial liaison that includes budgets, forecasts and expenses. Collaboration and consultation on marketing strategies to promote the facility throughout BC and Alberta, and extensive community networking, all of which have resulted in increased awareness and utilization. Leadership, mentoring, training and developing people with respect for diversity and cultural awareness. Effectively negotiate, mediate and foster harmonious working relationships and community partnerships.
