A diverse and unique talent, C.B. Heath is equally adept with both the lyrical and the prosaic, producing the kinds of stories which alter perspectives permanently through a cunning and subtle use of wit, philosophical pieces which speak to the heart of the matter every time, and poetry so evocative it smells of the pine woodland. His is an ear finely tuned to rhythm and grammar alike, with a particular knack for drawing poetry out of the non-poetic - over eighteen thousand have viewed his collection of found poetry, while he leads an online community of some five hundred found poets, the largest and most prolific of its kind in the UK. His writing has a soft spot for the pastoral, the autumnal; the tone is gracious, loving, enlightened and sometimes melancholic; the approach, pantheistic yet agnostic, ultimately concerned with truth - as far as it can be discerned - and kindness - as far as it can be shared. With two novels and several poetry and short story publications under his belt, Heath is an experienced professional who takes pride in his varied work. He is currently working on the construction of a modern epic using the found poetry technique. 'Finding Gutenberg' is expected to come to a conclusion in 2017.
