I’m a Colombian engineer with passion for tech, travels, teaching and languages, with experience working remotely with international teams and raised in a service focus culture. As my resume indicates, i have experience working with a language learning platform online in the past, that job set the beginning of my passion for tech companies and start ups, although I’m an engineer by profession and my training is in business development, I have a close relationship with customer service, I was the Spanish customer representant of i2istudy a language learning start up based in Russia, for which I not only translated and recorded lessons but also I was the contact point for Spanish speaking customers that were reaching to us by mail and social media, at the time I was also learning Russian in Nizhny Novgorod State University which gave me the understanding of the struggles customers go trough when learning new languages and gave me the tools to sympathized with their requests and doubts. To continue exploring my passions I taught Spanish to Russian speakers which provided me with insights of how to develop customer relationships from a different angle. Moreover my former job in which i stay about a year was working both on site and remotely for a Berlin based start up (Jodel), in which i was part of the growth team as Country manager for Colombia and Spain, where I work expanding the product to new markets having great results and working close with tools like (Zendesk, trello, slack, spendesk) and realized how important it is for the growth, retention and conversion of users a good customer service, also how valuable it is the information for the product roadmap.
