Showreel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGOKi3Me0K8 I am an experienced content producer and strategist. My career started in 2000 at Sony Music producing video content for Sony’s prestigious repertoire of acts which then followed in web development at agencies creating award winning web sites for clients such as the Barbican, Adidas and Eurostar. Moving back in- house to Warp records where I worked on one of the first legal music download services, Bleep.com (winner of the BT Digital Music Award for best online music store 2006 ) and then to Virgin, where I lead the development and editorial of Virgin.com using a partner agency based in New York. At both Warp records and Virgin I was in senior roles managing people, agencies and projects. During my time at Virgin, I found an opportunity for Richard Branson to use Twitter for the first time. I was presented with a challenge of how would Richard communicate with the public whilst sailing across the Atlantic. At the time Twitter was still under underutilises by public figures, so I developed a strategy that allowed Richard to become one of the most high-profile Twitter users and my strategy was adopted by the wider PR team. This included me copywriting Richard’s early Tweets as dictated by Richard (He got very frustrated over the 140-character limit!). I also created content for Rodger the internal print magazine for virgin employees. I had a career break to focus on music and video production (I was the guitarist and producer of Deckajam), as our album was released under our own label we had a social media first strategy to release content and promote live shows. In addition, I produced videos, Soundcloud content and podcasts aimed at the under 25 market. I am also an established freeform hardcore producer and DJ. I am currently freelancing and have produced commercial content for a start-up drinks brand, event after movies (festivals, clubs and Raves) and VJ content. I also VJ and have VJed at clubs and festivals around England including SW4 (ram records stage) Club Egg, club NME and Moondance. My experience has allowed me to stay at constantly at the forefront of trends and coupled with my training in traditional production techniques (gained at the BRIT School whilst studying Music Production), I believe will a benefit of any team.
