I have spent several years teaching others how to write. I have taught grammar, basic and advanced essay writing, creative writing, and various literature classes. I have had a varied list of students, ranging from students straight out of high school to students who have been away from school for 20 years. I have also taught English as a Second Language. I am currently working on my own writing projects that range from poetry to fiction -- short stories as well as a novel. I have written for Wikinuts, Hub Pages, Article Document, and Yahoo Contributor Network and a media site - Bubblews. My topics have ranged from business practices, employment, and client services, to name a few. Other topics have ranged from collections, positive thinking, empowerment, gardening, and water sports. I have also worked as an administrator, managing others and helping clients improve their work. For a UCLA PhD candidate, I proofread and edited a 400-page dissertation. Having taught online classes and assisting students with online assignments, I fully understand this method of study.
