I've been working as a software engineer and systems administrator for the past 13 years and have grown tired with the cycle of hire for project, complete project, get laid off. I would much rather track down my own work and do that work directly for clients and be responsible for my own success. My experience is wide-ranging but is predominantly focused on back-end and middleware software development, LAMP stack server administration under CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, and RedHat, and data integration. I am also experienced in provisioning hardware, requirements analysis, specification and technical writing, documentation, and process analysis.
