Eric Wicks is a visual and interaction designer with over a decade of experience bringing the world-changing potential of technology to bear in beautiful product, digital, and brand designs. As a member of the founding team of the renowned product firm argodesign, Eric helped launch the company to its early success and continues to contribute to the company’s influential work. With a strong focus on solving complex problems and setting design direction for next-generation technologies through his work, Eric aspires to a positive impact on the advancement of human behavior. Prior to joining argodesign, Eric held highly collaborative product design positions at Spredfast, where he helped bring to market one of the world’s most successful social media marketing platforms; and at frog design, a global innovation firm. In his early career, he worked with fully integrated, strategically driven brand agencies including Hanson Dodge, Dialog Studio and Planet Propaganda, where he helped to establish the digital presence of passion-based clients like Trek Bicycle Corporation, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Lollapalooza and Johnson Outdoors. As a sought-after speaker on the creative process of art, design and business, Eric has shared his insights through various institutions including the Paris College of Art, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, and South by Southwest Interactive (SXSWi). He has judged the work of some of the world’s top designers for the SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards since 2011.
