Since 1997, I have worked my way up through proposal departments in smaller companies as well as large Fortune 500 companies. I have overseen an increased department win rate of nearly 50% for my current employer. My proposal management skill set includes things like reviewing client RFP overall deliverables, providing project and content management, facilitating the overall business planning, assisting with technical/pricing strategy, writing strategic business content, developing value propositions and win theme messaging, and managing bid response teams. I am APMP-foundation certified, and completed Shipley capture and proposal management courses. I hold a BA in English from the University of Maryland.
