As always, to begin is not an easy task, but once you are in, you flow with the river. My translation service started with my first trip to Jerusalem, Israel, where I was the only one Russian speaking with great English. After I get familiar with the organization my first mission was a simultaneous translation of the conference, in a booth. Different speakers from all over the world participated in the conference, from the States, China, India, Africa, Latin America, the Pacific Islands, Japan, Korea, Central Asia, Russia, Europe. The main theme of the conference always vary, I had to keep up with speakers speaking on Technical, Industrial, Medical, Christian themes. After 2 years of working as the conference translator, I was moved to the publishing department, where I was responsible for the translation of the different printed materials like books, journals, brochures, magazines from English to Russian, to be sent out to all world. At the same time, I had to keep my conference translation. As a translator I know that you have to be on top of your industry, in order to have great results, using new words that are evolving every day and polish your skills to the perfect. As Alberto Manguel an anthologist, translator, essayist, novelist, editor, and Director of the National Library of Argentina, author of many books, says: "The ideal translator, he or she can pull a text to pieces, remove its skin, cut it to the bone, follow each artery and vein and thence fashion a new living being."
