I am sure I'm one of the older developers in the world. I have been developing for about 25 years. And I love it! I primarily work with .Net using C#. I am a full time employee of a large ecommerce company and make sure all of our over 114,000 skus are seen by search engines and comparison shopping engines every night. Of course the whole thing is automated using scheduled tasks, console apps, MVC and APIs. My skills are considered expert. I have an MBA from Kennesaw State University just north of Atlanta, Georgia. Because of that I approach all work from not only a technical side, but also understand that you are a business and are looking for a great value. So my approach has a business bias. Some of the technologies I use are Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Angular, JavaScript (including several libraries), and C#. All of my web applications are MVC using Ninject or StructureMap for dependency injection everywhere. I'm not much of a designer so I keep designers and graphic artists handy. I say stay with your strengths. I manage projects through VisualStudio.com for project tracking and a repository. I also use GitHub or Subversion. I would recommend that we use Microsoft Azure for hosting. You can find hosting cheaper, but you won't find a better, more diverse, or more secure platform. I'd be happy to talk to you about your project, find out your needs and give you my two cents worth of advise even if you choose to use someone else. I hope to work with you soon.
