For over 2 years, I have created maps for fantasy realms and lands based on authors' hirings & requests. No two fantasy authors are alike in visualizing the realms of their making, which presents an interesting challenge of constantly needing to design new ways of merging terrains like hills, mountains, deserts, green-fields as well as habitats like cities, towns, caves, keeps, fortresses and villages. All the previous items are required to have both an economical and ecological interlocked system of rivers, lakes, seas, and roads to sustain vital aspects like the dwellers' commerce and livelihoods. Another important point to be taken into consideration is the geological nature of each sector/province whether it be seaside or inland, seaside meaning that the wind is rich with water-vapor making the terrain mostly green-fields, or green on one face and rocky on the other if the terrain adjacent to the sea is mountainous. Inland meaning that the climate is more harsher, and accordingly the nature of the terrain, I greatly enjoy my work, something that is noticeable from the first communication until the very successful end of each project.
