I am a Fashion Design creative and Academic. As a designer, I champion and celebrate innovative fashion with a unique narrative.

I have been successful as a SR. fashion designer in driving the full lifecycle of luxury brand collections from concept through production creating 3000+ new designs yearly across men’s women’s and fashion lines.I have also ghost-written fashion articles and content for various fashion magazines partially fulfilling a PR role. I have written columns exploring fashion in its cultural and social context.

As an academic, I am a motivated and dedicated sessional lecturer teaching students within all years. My path towards academic work was an unexpected one but I found the work challenging as well as gratifying, and increasingly interesting. I always strive to use my design and creative background, my interests in culture, design, technology, and sustainability, together with academic practices, to help students develop further their understanding of their industry, environment, and practices.

My forte is hand embellishments, fashion writing, history of fashion, and design mentoring. I am open to seminars and guest lectures if there is an opportunity.
