I am well versed in many design fields. I am currently employed with JCPenney as a Designer for Arizona Boy's 4-20 Tops. I previously worked for Target Corporation, (headquartered in downtown Minneapolis) as an Associate Designer. My Target experiences have included: designing for boys’ and girls' apparel, Women's (Missy) apparel, Women's Plus and Maternity for Liz Lange. My previous experiences have included: creative and technical designer for a local figure skating apparel company; working in the bridal industry with a big name wedding dress designer from Atlanta; and while attending design school in Chicago I worked full-time with a master chocolatier in staffing one of their high-end stores in downtown Chicago and was able to provide some creative thinking to some of the in-store design displays. I also enjoy my occasional artistic freelance work as an illustrator for a patternmaking company. I draw and design the illustrative figures and technical sketches on the company’s pattern envelopes. In my spare time I enjoy painting, sewing, traveling, hanging out with my hubby and friends, and spending time with my Boston Terrier, Ms. Stella Bean. My goal is to continue to work toward advancing my skills and passion in the design field.
