I am a native English speaker with a keen eye for good punctuation and grammar and correct spellings. I studied A-Level English and Communication Studies alongside a Diploma in Journalism and Media. Although it is many years since I got these qualifications I have kept my hand in by writing for a number of different in-house magazines and various creative writing contests both on-line and in magazines. I write my own blog where I talk about things I have experienced in my life - with a focus on my experiences with bullying, my disability and, more recently, chronic pain. Although I write in a fairly relaxed style for my blog i am able to adapt my style to suit the type of publication or genre I am writing for. I take direction well and am also adept at using my own imagination and flair for research to create new and original pieces of writing. As I do not currently have a job I am able to devote several hours each day to any ghost-writing, editing or proof-reading work that I am fortunate to be given. This means I am able to work within set deadlines and give more time and attention to projects because I am not distracted by anything external factors.
