Today, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy held an event for the leaders of the Moroccan national team fans at Al Thumama Stadium, as part of Qatar’s network of fan leaders from around the world as part of the promotional programs for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in order to introduce them to one of the World Cup stadiums to be held during the period from November 20 to December 18, in addition to introducing the stadium’s organizational procedures during the tournament.
During the event, the leaders of the Moroccan national team fans, who numbered nearly fifty, were briefed on the facilities of Al Thumama Stadium, which will host two matches of the Moroccan team in the upcoming World Championship against Belgium and Canada in Group F competitions, which also includes the Croatian team and the runners-up of the previous edition in Russia 2018. The attendees were able to get acquainted with all the facilities and facilities of the World Cup stadium, in addition to experiencing the exceptional atmosphere that they will know on the ground during the World Cup in its first Arab and Middle Eastern version in history.
The event included an introductory tour of everything related to the architectural masterpiece, starting with the stadium’s sections, its entrances and exits, the players’ rooms, the warm-up rooms and their annexes, and the fans’ stands, all the way to getting to know the quality of the pitch’s grass, which is characterized by high quality in accordance with the international standards of the International Federation of Football Associations “FIFA”.
In an exclusive interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the country, Moulay Zein Moussaoui, stressed that the World Cup finals in Qatar will be a pride for all Arabs at the level of organization, after the great preparations made by the State of Qatar, through which it sought to graduate. The next edition of the World Cup is exceptional and unique.
He added: We feel proud and honored to be in Al Thumama Stadium, which is one of the eight masterpieces that will host the great football event, noting that the stadium has a global character and the testimony of everyone who has seen it, expressing his hope that the stadium will witness an exemplary appearance of the Moroccan team in the World Cup during The two matches he is hosting, and for the team to present the hoped-for image in order to make Moroccans and Arabs happy by achieving the expected results and succeeding in crossing to the second round of the tournament.
